Happy birthday to Mohawk poetess Pauline Johnson!

We are delighted and honoured to join Chiefswood National Historic Site and Six Nations Tourism to present a special event in honour of esteemed poet Pauline Johnson. We have established a partnership with them to help curate a special day to celebrate and pay tribute to Pauline’s impactful life.

Register to reserve your place to attend a writing workshop with Alison Fishburn, light refreshments (including birthday cake), and poetry readings by Indigenous and non-indigenous artists, including Riverside Reading Series alumni Gary Barwin, Kim Farner, Tanis MacDonald, Fareh Malik, Aleria McKay, and Mariam Pirbhai.

1-2:30pm | Poetry reading series (Cost: $15)
